Canberra’s fresh air, forests and national park provide a great outdoors experience for camping and caravanning.Over 50% of the area of the ACT is set aside as nature reserves and parks.

Caravan parks are close to the city and there are campgrounds at the Cotter, in ACT forests, and in Namadgi National Park on the doorstep of the Australian Alps. Plan ahead as you can book a campsite before you arrive.
