Parliament House at work — a 25th anniversary exhibition by Anne Zahalka

Leading Australian photomedia artist Anne Zahalka was commissioned to document the work and people of Parliament House during its 25th anniversary in 2013. The resulting images go behind the scenes to showcase the important role that people play in supporting the work of the Parliament. From the upkeep of the magnificent gardens to the maintenance of the art collection, and the preparation of meals for parliamentarians, to mention just a few - the exhibition is a testament to the scale and diversity of work that goes on behind the scenes to support the nation's Parliament.
