Event - About Face: the art of caricature

About Face: the art of caricature

About Face: the art of caricature features selected works of cartoonist John Frith who entertained Australians for over 60 years with his insightful and powerful depictions of political and public figures.

Political cartoons have always been a vibrant component of Australia's democracy and this exhibition celebrates the art and wit of caricature.

Alongside the Frith works are a collection of sculptures by David Rowe. This appealingly grotesque assortment was rescued from the garden shed and gives visitors an insight to the way in which the 2013 Political Cartoonist of the Year thinks and works.
